Revamped Workspace
The new workspace allow users to access their spreadsheets more quickly and efficiently than before. We’ve used more AJAX to handle the actions which means we have eliminated a number of page loads necessary in previous workspace, saving you time. The Asterisk development team has released new versions of three libraries used with Asterisk. They are:

libpri-1.2.8:
This release contains a number of bugfixes that had been unreleased for months, along with clarification of the licensing of the source code. The change log is here:

New testing version of Gammu was just born. It brings quite a lot of fixes and changes API a bit (some things will also change in next testing release).

Jaws 0.8.0 - First stable released

Jaws 0.8.0 - Second beta released

We are happy to announce the second beta of Jaws 0.8.0 (What we do in life echoes in eternity). And as you know... this is a release which 'should' work better than beta1 but NOT be used in production systems.

As usual, we provide three tarballs:

jaws-core: Include core and core gadgets (useful if you want to use Jaws as a framework).
jaws-blog-system: include same as jaws-core but also some gadgets like Banner, Blog, Chatbox, FileBrowser, etc..). Useful if you want to use Jaws as a blog system and a theme.
jaws-complete: include everything

Now, some notes about this version before you start using it:

Since this version ONLY users running 0.7.x can upgrade. Previous versions are officially unsupported.
Make a backup of your database, you are warned!

Announcement of ejabberd 2.0.2-beta1

After several months of fixing bugs in ejabberd 2.0.x, a new maintenance release is planned for the end of this month.

Until then, we still have time to beta test the ejabberd source code. For this purpose ejabberd 2.0.2-beta1 is released.

Notice that this beta is only released as source code package, no binary installers are published now.

Fabrik 1.0.6 released

Its been several months since the last release in the 1.0.x series, and while a lot of work has been going into Fabrik 2.0 we haven’t been idle with Fabrik 1.0.x either!. So with that in mind I’m pleased to announce the release of Fabrik 1.0.6. This is primarily a bug fix release, however some nice new additions have also been added:

General

We’ve replaced the old config.php file with its own section in the administration panel. This means that you’re settings will be maintained when you update your code.

Forms

You can now use Wordpress’s Askimet to check your form submissions for spam.
We’ve simplified the process of making search forms; allowing you to create a form which filters the table defined in that form’s jump page.

Elements

An alternative to the Slimbox has been added called Highslide.
We have substantially improved the date picker’s date handling and formatting, and added the option for users to select the time as well as the date.

Tables

A ‘NOT IN’, pre-filter conditions has been added.
Filter’s can now be cleared with the ‘clear filter button’. Additionally search form filters are now show in the filter table.

Emdros 3.0.0 released

After more than 4 years in the making, Emdros version 3.0.0 has been released over at SourceForge.Net:

This started off as a branch off of the 1.1-series of Emdros, way back in 2004 (or was that 2003, even?). It then became a long series of preview releases, labelled 1.2.0.preXX (running internally to 1.2.0.pre269!). I should, of course, have released 2.0 way earlier. Now it became 3.0, simply because that is what it is, in terms of feature-additions.

By the way, the primary reason I haven’t been so publicly active around Emdros is that I have gotten married (hence the change of surname you’ll see below). Things have been moving internally, though, so 3.0.0 is actually a long ways from 1.2.0.pre262, the last public release.Enjoy!

The Asterisk.org development team has released Asterisk versions 1.4.21.2 and 1.2.30.
